About the concert
Last year, Marius Neset was a revelation. Our classically oriented audience discovered a saxophonist of absolute world class, and the response was overwhelming. We simply had to bring him back.
This time he comes with his own band, Marius Neset Quintet: A powerhouse of musicians who have played together since 2003: Elliot Galvin on keyboard, Magnus Hjorth on piano, Conor Chaplin on bass, and Anton Eger on drums. These are the five who help define jazz, and have done so for a decade already.
