Intimate with Alexandra Dariescu
World star Alexandra Dariescu as close and intimate as only Risør can offer. Come hear what happens when technique and artistry merge into a higher unity.
About the concert
Something magical always happens when Alexandra sits down at the piano, and with the concert A Child's Dream she takes us into a world she herself has created.
We encounter composers like Amy Beach, Florence Price, Germaine Tailleferre and Carl Filtsch, the child prodigy who died just 14 years old, hailed by Chopin as the greatest talent he had ever heard.
Finally, Alexandra gives us a taste of The Nutcracker. A piece very close to her heart because her modern version "The Nutcracker and I" has become a modern classical hit.
